Qualified applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. As our inaugural program is small, we have limited space. Therefore it helps to apply as early as possible.
To apply, please do the following:
- Read our terms and conditions which you must agree to when you apply.
- Complete an application form and submit it (online or by mail).
- Pay online or write a check to the International Artists’ and Writers’ Workshops for US$195.

Important Dates
- June 1/2008 Application materials, proof of overseas medical insurance and payment in full must be received at the IAWW office
- July 27/2008 Check-in at hotel; Opening night reception
- July 28/2008 Program begins
- August 7/2008 Program End Date
The price of $3395 US dollars is based on a group of 10 - 20 participants.
A $195 US dollar deposit, applied to your tuition, must accompany your application.
To be guaranteed a place in the program the IAWW must receive full payment by June 1st, 2008.

Included in the program fee:
- Tuition and class materials
- Honorariums for guest speakers
- Twelve nights accommodation
- Twelve breakfasts
- Six lunches
- Bottled drinking water (1.5 litres per person per day)
- Welcome reception in Accra
- Farewell dinner, closing night ceremonies and cultural show
- Entrance fees for all national and historical monuments and points of interest
- All admission fees to cultural sites and national parks
- Transportation on all scheduled excursions
- Airport pick-up on July 27/2008
- Airport drop-off on August 7/2008
Not Included in the program fee:
- Airfare to and from Ghana
- Airport taxes
- Passport and visa application fees
- Excess baggage charges
- Life, health and accident insurance
- Luggage and cancellation insurance
- Travel insurance
- Personal items such as laundry, phone, fax, internet
- Non-included meals
- Required or recommended immunizations
- Personal items lost due to theft and/or vandalism
- Gratuities (a small tip at time of service is customary)
- Alcoholic beverages
